How do I embed sound to a website created in publisher that will play?

How do I embed music in to a website that will play when published.

Both links and embedded object will not play when publish.

Is your sound file in the same directory as the .html file?

Yes. I do not wish to have background music. I wish to have the music played when requested. I am also having the same difficutly with an embedded presentation as well. It will play in the in the in the document, but when I publish it will not.

my file format and folder location for .wav seems to be formatted OK. No music on preview or on the uploaded web page. Any recommendations?
