Hello,

I've been battling with this one all day. There's no solution out there that I can find.

Crystal Reports .NET integrated in aspx pages.

I am using a group expert in several of my reports. The group name and group count act as hyperlinks when a report is generated. When you click on them it pulls up a report with just the information of the group. Anything that is a formula field in the Group Footer section is treated like a hyperlink with the same behavior. I need to figure out how to disable this behavior. I do not want the user to able to click on the group name or the count.

Thanks,
ghesse

If you are referring to drilldown capacity when double clicking on group headers or footers, you can disable this by placing the fields in text boxes.

Just to expand on what LB has said. Crystal provides this 'drill-down' facility by making every field in the Group Header and Group Footer section a hyperlink. You will notice that Text Boxes do not act as hyperlinks.

Therefore the workaround used to prevent unwanted Group Drilldowns is to place each of the GH and GF fields into Text Objects.

Thank you guys, I've awarded you both stars. Problem solved! I didn't realize that you could drag special fields into text objects!
