I have a question, how would I create a query using a "dbo Linked table" with a local table?

When I do this now, a prompt pops up and says that "I need an updateable query." How do I get past this?!

If anyone out there has any input/insight, it would be great! Thanks -

When I do this now
When you do what ?
An updateable query is needed for DELETE or UPDATE, not for SELECT.

Hope This Helps, PH.

Agreed, when I try to create an UPDATE query using one table as a 'LINKED dbo table' to a local table to be updated, the system pops a prompt stating that the query that is getting updated is unupdateable.

I hope that this clarifies the ambiguity.

Please respond, thanks!
