I have gone under function transaction and set the function to menu item price override but it is giving me an error.

"Not Allowed with Selected Detail"

Please help.

It shouldn't require any further configuration.

You add the menu item and then press the override button. Are you sure you are adding the menu item first.

Yes I have done that...is there something I am supposed to subscribe for this to work...working off an em server.

Don't have "PresetPrices" checked in Menu Item Class

For my Open Retail I do not have preset prices choosen it is blank.

I don't care if its a menu item override or an open retail - I just need to be able to change a couple prices in store temporarily.

I cannot get either button to work.

Just testing this as never used it. Works fine for me. Looks like you area selecting the items. Try just ringing them in then use the price override button
Make sure the employee class has price override authorized in Options
