How do I create 3903 Virtual phones in Option 81c running succession 3.0? I had some created on loop 100 but I would like to make more on a different loop to separate the ones I'm currently using to route calls to vmail for symposium.

Can someone give me a step by step on how to create the loop and create an example phone. Supposedly I can use these TN's without using up licences, instead of phantom analog Tn's. I use these currently to goto Callpilot SDN's for upfront menu options.

I also have an Option 11c running the Succession 3.0 can virtuals also be created or are they limited to 81c's.

Thanks

you can create virtuals, but they are for IP sets. how many numbers do you have pointing to Call Pilot. You could use ACDNs, but phantoms are a good way to go.

You still use TN license when programming a virtual phone. It's an I2000 series phone.

Ran out of ACDN licenses and running low on Type 500 licences for phantoms...I was told that if I use virtuals it would not use up licenses as per the vendor..

btw, your not running out of acd's.. you might be running out of agents but not groups. they are not lic's for a acd

new
acd
xxxx
maxp 1
ncfw xxxx (call pilot)

no licenses needed. i moved 650 soft phones (phantom) from a v loop to maxp 1 acd to save the 65k for new lic. the above post is below rls 3, go to 23 and read the header, the groups run out around 23.9K the agents cost money. a maxp 1 acd has zero agents. closest thing to free you'll ever get from nortel
