Hi,
I'm running Cold Fusion 4.5 on Windows 2000 server (and RedHat 7) trying to automate the process of writing to httpd.conf
I'm able to do so with a simple CFFILE tag, however, when I manually STOP/START the Apache service in Services (Windows) the service does not want to start up.
When viewing httpd.conf in Notepad (or whatever) it appears to be correct, in fact if I manually edit the httpd.conf file by (1) simply typing a character anywhere then (2) erasing the character I just typed then (3) save my work -- the service will start up w/o a problem.
I tried trim(write_to_file), but that didn't work.
Does anyone know what the problem is and/or know how to remedy this?
Thanks.
