How do I copy an analog line (DN) to... 2

...another TN that is not being used? I tried to do CPY and COPY from the REQ: prompt but still get error messages. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Creating New extension by Copying: Quick Doc I wrote up awhile ago

The quickest method of creating a “new” extension is to copy a similar type of telephone from the area the new one it is going into.

STEP 1

Find a spare Directory Number

Lift Handset at new extension and dial #59 6895
High pitched Tone

Unplug new extension and plug into socket at required location. All arrows should flash at “live” socket.

After short time telephone “beeps”.

Extension relocated.

Swap phone locations (only digital to digtal or analog to analog)

Use Set Re-location to transfer telephone to required new location

Lift Handset at new extension and dial #40 1234
High pitched Tone

Unplug the extension and plug into socket at required location. All arrows should flash at “live” socket.

After short time telephone “beeps”.

Extension relocated.
