how do I connect win 95/98 boxes to demand dail routing in 2k server?

I am extremely unexperienced with windows 2000 server. I have managed to set up the routing services on my server and a demand-dail route. When I try it on my server, it works fine, but I can't seem to connect through my network frommy 95/98 clients.

I have active directory services, DHCP, WINS, and DNS working on my server and my clients all have static IPs. I have my clients logging in to the domain and I have them in the built-in routing group.

Did you specify the IP address of your server to be the default gateway on your clients ?
Also, have you tried the demand dial on your server ?

I have my clients default gateway set to the ip of the server.

How do I find out what my ip address is of the remote subnet?

Do I have to do anything special to the static route? Right now it's ip and subnet mask are set to 0.0.0.0

Why are you using demand dialing ?
Are you trying to connect your network to another network ?
Can you give me more details about your network (IP addresses, ...)

I am trying to connect the intranet to the internet via a demand-dail device and routing services. I already tried the internet connection sharing service and that messed up the rest of my services.

The server has an IP of 192.168.1.1 and the rest of the network obtains IPs anywere from 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.199 The servers name is SERVER and the domain is (I believe) cornerstone.edu

I have both TCP/IP and NetBEUI running on my clients. As I said before the clients obtain their IP addresses and are also set up to use WINS. They log into the domain CORNERSTONE. The gateway is hardcoded to 192.168.1.1 as is the DNS.
