I have two novell servers, one is ipx and the other is strictly ip. I have been successful in connecting the windows 2000 desktops to the ipx server, but am unable to connect to the ip server, I am using the windows2000 netware client provided.

Hi, the problem is that Microsoft client for Novell use only ipx protocol, not tcp/ip, so the client cannot talk with your tcp novell server.
You can solve your problem in 2 ways:
activate the ipx protocol on Novell server (eventually usinging the encapsutation inside of the tcp/ip protocol) or to install Novell client 4.83 for Windows 2000/Xp on your workstations.
I don't know if there is some workaround but I think No.

Hope help you.
