We are 'reincarnating' e*gate - can anybody provide a brief synopsis of the activities necessary to connect an e*way with an Oracle database?

Apex,

Simple enough, although I'm sure you've figured it out by now. I did the same thing about 3 months ago.

Install Oracle Client on your machine and set up a connection using the ODBC Data Source Administrator. Click on System DSN and add a new Oracle connection. Use the DBWizard to set up the Oracle ETDs that you'll need for your collaborations.

You might also want to download a patch that allows you to have more than 30 characters for stored procedure names/package names. That's a Seebeyond limitation that I ran into a while back.

Good luck.
