How do I connect a SCSI HD to my computer??

I have a 50G Seagate Barracuda SCSI hard drive and I have no clue if I can connect it to my home computer. Is it even possible or is this drive confined to server use?

Adaptec has a good reputation for SCSI Controller cards.

Promise is also good. Available from most places you can get the drives from.

I also would vote for adaptec. But can be considered pricey.
Most of my stuff now is SIIG. Works fine in DOS and Win based stuff, because of design changes it can get a little picky with Unix.
