I have a 50G Seagate Barracuda SCSI hard drive and I have no clue if I can connect it to my home computer. Is it even possible or is this drive confined to server use?

Do you have any suggestions on what brand/type of SCSI controller I should purchase?

Thanks for the link, when exams are over I plan on doing some good reading.

I also would vote for adaptec. But can be considered pricey.
Most of my stuff now is SIIG. Works fine in DOS and Win based stuff, because of design changes it can get a little picky with Unix.
