Can anyone tell me how to configure IIS to allow PHP scripting.

Also which would be better to learn, PHP or CGI scripts.

Thanks.

To run PHP you must get the engine and install it. Once done you need to configure your iis mapi to use the php scripts and know how to execute them, just like perl.

From my opinion I can do things faster and more efficient in VBScript than PHP or Perl.

I must admit, I tend to favour ASP and VBScript. It would be nice to know PHP thought.

I am going on a training course soon for ASP.NET which I am looking forward to.

At work we use ASP and ASP.Net. Very easy to use and pretty powerful. At home I use PHP. Mainly, because I'm running Linux, and it's free. I've come to really love PHP. Easy to use, and I can do just about anything with it.
