Hello all,

This is my first question to the forum.

I run Networker V 6.0.1 build.174 turbo 310.
I have large savesets (300 GB+) spanning several
volumes of tapes.
I'd like to know if there is a way of
a way I can clone only the portion of these savesets in one particular volume.

Thanks

I'm working from ver5, so things are slightly different in ver6. From the GUI, Save Set > Clone > More. This will give you the options to clone a specific save set. If the save set spanned several tape volumes, don't be suprised if the clone is several volumes as well. If you need to enable cloning as a regular function of your backup cycle for off-siting, report to this thread.

Thank you mbitto.

Actually I have a large savset /root/savesetname/
spanning 7 DLT Tapes:
Tape1
Tape2
Tape3
Tape4

I need to know how I can clon only the portion of this saveset in Tape3.
