To clean a database and start over with an empty one, go to Start/Programs/computer associates/Brightstor/Arcserve Backup/Server Admin. In the window that opens, select the Database tab, then click Operation on the Tool Bar and select Initialize Database. Choose the database(s) you want to clean and continue the process. I can't recall if you will be required to stop the database service first or not . It will tell you if so.
i guess what i mean is , i want to zero out the database and free up disk space.
i can run the prune job but ive noticed in the past it really doesnt do anything to free up disk space.
i think rotech has it right...thanks for your help
