I need to change the drive letters of my CD-Rom's in XP. They conflict with the log-in script we run @ work and to change the mapped-drive letters will mean configuring a whole bunch of proprietary software which is a nightmare.
Right click "my computer" -->manage --> Under Computer management ---> go to storage option -->under storage go to Disk Management-->you will able to see all your drives with CDROM also then right click on that drive --> click on "chnage drive letters and path" click on change to change your drive letter for CDROM.
Note that, if you change the drive letter of a hard drive, you should re-install all applications installed on that drive; or at least go to the registry and change the drive letter manually for each application.
