How do I change the Company Directory?

Hello! I can use A LOT of HELP! Everyone in our office is inadequate when it comes to figuring out how to work this damned phone! I have the main message and each mailbox recorded but if you stay on the line long enough you get the old receptionist saying the company directory.. HOW DO I FIND WHERE TO CHANGE THAT???

PLEASE HELP ME!!!

It sounds as though the old directory was recorded in the CCR home menu (single digit call routing ). You can either re-record it, or if you are not using this feature you can disable it. Depends on what you want to do.

It might sound like;
to reach Joe Thorton press 1
to reach Joe Sakic press 2

You would have to find out what tree you are using first. Then you would have to disable the tree, and then go the the home menu (path 0) and make your changes in the CCR admin. Keep in mind that the home menu is what gives the caller the options, so if you went from "For Joe Blow, press 1" to "For John Doe, press 1" you would have to change the path to reflect the change. So path 1 would change from Joe Blows extension to John Doe's extension and so on. Once your changes are made and saved, you would go back and enable the tree.
