Hi there:
I am running gnome under Red Hat 7.2 and currently have a resolution of 800x600 but would like to change this. How can I do this under gnome?

Try to press control + ,or control - ,
if this does not to work you have to change it by modifing
xfree config fail,
/etc/X11/XF86Config-4 (that if you have X version 4.*, if 3.* then /etc/X11/XF86Config ) and change it frome there. ---------------------
