How do I change my delivery name?

Hi there,

When I send an email externally it appears in the recipients inbox in the format of my mailbox name. For example, if my mailbox is called Smith, John then that is the name that appears in the recipents in box. I want to change this to my email address so the recipient inbox will display j.smith@company.com.

Does anyone know how to do this?

But if I do that then the internal address book for the whole company will change.

I've found the answer.

There is a setting under Exchange system Manager.

go to Global Settings \ Internet Message Formats and select properties of the default format.

Click on the Advanced tab and un-tick "Preserve senders display name on message"

Job done!
