How do I change menus to German in Office XP 1

How do I change the menus in Word, Excel etc. to German.
I have tried going into Microsoft Office XP Language settings and changing in there, but this does not change the menus.

Any help would be appreciated.

Of course not, you need to install a German Office then.

YOu need either a localised version or a multi-language version of Office XP.

I don't think you can view German menus on a US office.

Or am I wrong here, people?

I've read somewhere that you have to change the "user interface" tab in the Microsoft Office XP Language settings, but this tab is not displayed

That is, as mentioned above, because you do not have the multi-language version .

Thanks for the advice, I found the file "LPKWIZ.EXE" on the installation path which I ran and this allowed me to specify a different language.
