I have a 250 and when setting up new mail boxes through the WYSE terminal, by default it picks the class 1 mailbox (small) which has been ok till now.

The powers to be now wants new m/b builds to automatically pick the class 2 (Medium) as the default . In other words, how can I do this without physically keystroking the class 1 to a 2 every time a mail box is built?

You can't unless you use MBM or a procomm script. You can also hard code a F key on the Wyse terminal to change it.

Thanks,
What would hard coding an f key accomplish? Is this like a macro that brings you to the class of svc prompt and applies the change to make it class 2, thus eliminating keystrokes?

Thanks again.

Presently, my cos 1,2 and 3 have max 30, 40 and 60 messages.
If I increase class 1 to 40 messages in the class of svc profile,(Menu 7) I take it that only future mailbox additions will have the 40 max messages, and the existing boxes will not be changed to the new value. Is this correct Ken?

No if you change it all mailboxes will then be able to have 40 in them

So, to clarify, do you mean that if I change the class 1 max boxes in Menu 7 to 40max that I will do a global change to the 500 boxes that are in the system or just the new ones that are built under the new 40 template?

thanks
