how do i block information (555-1212 ect)

I was wondering what the best way would be to block people from dialing information. we hav added a VOIP circuit for all outbound calls and give our customer a bulk rate, however, now that we have done this the calls to information have greatly increased and now we need to restrict these calls. I am working with an Option 61. Thanks
 
If you have each NPA build, you will need to add it to the DENY option for each NPA.

For each NPA you have a DENY option where you can Deny 555-1212. It is tedious to make the change, but I am not aware of any way to do a global Deny on 1-xxx-555-1212. I am sure JP has a script that will do this, so amybe he will provide some insight on that.

your fears were right, each of my npa's have deny 555.. sort of a pain but it only has to be done right one time.. might want to use a script if your using procomm... mine took a few hours instead of a few days

nothing past that npa.. i don't put the normal 900 numbers and the other npa's down in the islands in the switch but all i block after 1xxx is 555... if you need help with a script and want to do it with a comma delimited file, let us know, one of us will post one

if you could post the script that would be great, i have never used a script for changes before so i may have a few questions after the fact. I am using procom. thank you!!
