Hi Guys, I want to add some new hardware to my UnixServer. I want to backup the Kernel just to be on the safe side. I can find no reference to this topic in the Unixware manual. Can anyone help. Thanks in advance

Old kernel will be automatically copied to unix.old file
in /stand slice. You also can copy file /stand/unix to any
other file, e.g. /stand/myunix
But general recommendation is to backup all filesystem before additional hardware installation.
Preserving old unix kernel doesn't eliminate all possible
problems in future.
