Hi, I run an Exchange 2003 Enterprise server, I was wondering (with Disaster Recovery in mind), how can I backup[ restore mailboxes or databases easily?

Thanks

Make sure in the Selection List you have Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes, Public Folders, Information Store, and Shadow Copies all checked.
Then in the Exchange selection list, be sure to have the Exchange Server Backup Method set to FULL, and the mailbox backup method also set to FULL. That should take care of it.
One last thing, be sure your Exchange db's are being backed up.

You may want to seperate the mailbox backups and the information store backups. When you select informations store and do a full backup the logs are purged. When you select mailboxes and public folders it backups each individual malbox and public folder for use if someone deletes a public folder or an item from there mailbox you can restore only the public folder or the mailbox (this does not purge logs)
