How do I attach Outlook emails to Act! Contacts?

I am using Act by sage version 9 and Outlook 2003. I cannot seem to attach my emails to a specific contact in Act. I went in to Outook and added a new directory, clicked on additional directories, chose Act! Address Book, and it says it already exists and cannot be duplicated twice. BUT..... I do not see the ACT logo on my toolbar at top to give me the option to attach anything.

I restarted programs plus restarted my computer, still not there.

Do you mean ACT! 2009 (version 11.0) or ACT! 2007 (version 9.0)?
