Eveyone in the office has public folder. My public folder was never install. I only have my personal folder. How do i find or add the public foldr that everyone else views? We dont have a exchange server. We are provided pop and smtp and probably more, but dont know. By another company!
I was told to go to tools then services and that i could add it through there. However i dont have a a service option. Please help!!

If you don't have a Services Option, then Outlook was installed in Internet Mail Only mode instead of Workgroup or Corporate mode.

In Outlook, go to Tools, Options, Mail Services tab, Reconfigure Mail Support button and choose Corporate or Workgroup.

after switching to work goru and corporate. once i have the sevice tab. where do i go to get the public folder?

I dont have a mail service tab or a reconfigure mail support. I only have a preference tab and under that i hve a email option and under that i have a advance email option, Dont think that is it. It only has font and stuff like that. The second tab is a mail set up and under that is email account and under that are option to add, view, or change existing mail. The second option is add, view,or change directory or change adress book.
theres a 3rd tab is other and under that is a advance option and under that theres a reminder option, custom form, add in manager, comp add ins.
Please help me find how 2 get to the public folder...

It sounds like you've got Outlook 2002, not 2000, but you're saying you have no Mail Format, Spelling, and Security tabs? Where is your Outlook data file - a local pst file or is on an exchange server? Something's fishy with your setup. Are there policies in place that are restricting your use of Outlook?

Does your office not have an IT guy to do all that? Someone has installed it one day, ask them? [sub]If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, excpect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.
