How do I add a second page? 1

I am trying to add a second page to a document so that I can print one of the pages on one side of the paper and the other page on the other side of the paper.
Do I need to add another page to the first document or is there another way for me to do the duplex printing?

I have never heard of adding multiple pages to an Illustrator doc, it is mainly a vector drawing program but if you had to I guess you could do your two different pages on two separate layers and then turn on or off the layer you want to print and then vice-versa the other side of the page.

Tony's suggestion is pretty good, here are 2 more options for you to ponder:

You can tile "multiple pages", make your artboard as big as 2 pages and then set the page tiling in the print setup dialog.

The only way you can create real multiple pages is by using a plugin (I've heard of one made by hotdoor that seems to be good). Otherwise, use a page layout program.

I agree withteh above posts, its not possible with stock Ill, Freehand would let you do it, but its Freehand! You would be better off to use Indesign!
