How do I add a license file to a Avaya IP office v500

Hello all! Thanks ahead for your assistance. I purchased 4 1616 IP phones and the company I purchased the phones from sent me a .zip license file. I was wondering how do I add this license file to the system to activate these sets? Thanks again!

I opened up the .xls file that was sent to me and it is all gibberish. It looks to be an encrypted file.

I've been doing some research and I'm stumped... I'm a greenhorn at this system. I've programmed all the sets and they've obtained the upgraded firmware and I've assigned them an extension. They just say no license. In the IP office status page we have 1 IP office endpoint that a contractor installed in the system. The congestion count is 3 for the 3 IP phones that I have ready to go. I have this license file from the company I purchased the sets from. All the reading I've done say that I should just have a 32 character license string to paste in when I right click in the license screen and click add.

Why wouldn't you call the people you bought the phones from and ask them how to do it? They sold them to you and should easily be able to walk you through it.

They only work 8 to 5... They seem very hard to get a hold of... I will not be purchasing from them again...

just copy the funny looking encrypted key from your spreadsheet and paste it directly into the licence tab in manager. done.
