I have a user who needs a speed dial button to dial a toll free #. What is the best way to do this? Add a short code button?

IP 406, v. 3.2 5410 phone

Oh....this is cheap....now i feel like the HSM word...LOL

I'm also very busy at the moment, have 2 weeks to reprogramm a 5 site SCN with a total new number plan.
They have a 1000 number DDI range. The best thing is I need to programm "This DDI number is changed, the new number is" They have about 400 old DDI numbers, and im not going to programm all that. So i need to setup up something like TTS and a Database.

Let them call the provider to put a tape on it for a couple of months.

tlpeter, every old DDI needs to goto a new 088 DDI number.
The providers won't do it this way, and it's more expensive then the licences we need.
Also the customer wanted to this option on DDI numbers when a colleague leaves the company. His number won't be used in the company for a year.

You ask, we do it...:p

400 DDI to point to a recording ?????
now that we officially hijacked the thread how about you make a module for each and in the menu you attach the first part of the greeting "the number has changed, the new number is" then you record each number single and add them in order or if the first digits are all the same, say 123456 and the rest varies from 700 to 999 then record the first part 123456 and hang the last digits on.
Less elegant but should work. I am not much with database stuff I have to admit.

It's more a time issue, the DB/TTS is easier for me and the customer. They only need to change the DB in access.

Why change the DB.

Make an Excel list.
IF you put in two DDI's then you click on the little square and hold it.

Then pull it down and it will add one every line.
Then you have all DDI's in Excel within one minute.

I know how Excel works, and then how import them in access.
Thats not the problem, otherwise it took me 3 weeks to programm all the work i've done now in 3 days.
