Hello.First, sorry for my english. We have old panasonic (European CE version) pbx systems kx-td1232 kx-td816 and kx-td612 connected through ISDN BRI interface KX-TD280 to PSTN. Our telecomunication company (can't change it, it's monopol) handling normally refused calls in that way that after dialing not existing or canceled phone number is offered service that after dialing number (1) is call transfered to operator which can transfer to any number.

This happening even if extension has correct tool restrictions set for local calls only. Restricted calls are bypassed through telecom company operator - after dialing not existing local area number and next sending dtmf tone (number 1) and transfer to operator... Direct calls to telephone company operator number set are of course restricted.

How disable end to end DTMF signalling? Only thing I found is change CO dial mode from DTMF to PULSE but pulse dialing is much longer and I'm not sure if customer will accept such noticable change in dialing.

From panasonic feature guide: DTMF signalling is required for access to special network services offered by some telephone companies and "No programming required".

Please, is there some (hidden) [990] option or anything I can do?

there is a thing called a smart one dialer that can be set up on the pstn side that if a call gets a reorder tone or sit tone it will hang up the call...

I'd start watch the smdr on the systems & I'd make it public that who ever is beating the toll restriction on the systems when caught will be sacked...

SMDR data are "private" and cannot be analyzed be me. Even if can, it will show only extension and not person who called, I'm not detective...

Are you vendor- panasonic? In different place/problem with kx-td1232, are SMDR collecting fine but problem is that for incoming calls is not number logged, in smdr log is in place for number showed only <INCOMING>. CO Line is ISDN and CLIP number is received and showed fine on display, but for smdr is still sent <INCOMING>. I didn't find a way to do incoming number to smdr log with kx-td1232. This works with kx-ta616 and FSK/CallerID card.

Yes I have certifications in all Panasonic big to small
A)start using forced account code before calls are made you will see the toll fraud and abuse stops once the people think that they will be caught ....
You will have to be more clear on caller id issue
We had Bri cards here but the lines were outrageously expensive so never caught on around here.
so I have never had KX-TD with Bri or Pri for that matter
so I am not sure if caller id even was delivered with these
lines. When I used the TD in my office I do know that when calls came in I got name, number .duration of call and time call was made etc ...

What country are you in?

On the first problem, you can restrict dialing during outside call in 990 area 4 bit 10, but this may stop you using automated services on other systems. it is system wide not extension restrictions.

as for the other problem, what call logging software are you using, mine shows the call as incoming but has a column at the end for caller id, you may have to tell the software to show it in setup..

try looking at the raw data from smdr port and see what shows

Here is price almost same as two analogue line, plus they have 15 direct ddi numbers and of course clip feature on phone display.

Since yesterday I found document with software history for early kx-td1232 versions and seems that this feature is simply not implemeted in used version.

SMDR for ISDN should be only in later version.

I will try this and few other settings /lower interdigit time/ next week but according to description from programming guide: "SYS4,bit10-Prevents or allow sending PULSE dialing signals during an outside call. Default is allow". I think this is not fix for dtmf problem.

ISDN has 2 channels so are the same as 2 analogue lines, here it is cheaper rental for 1 ISDN than 2 analogue lines.

in my manual it stops pulse or dtmf after call is seen as connected. inter digit timer will not stop digits being sent.

We have a lot of ISDN here and never had a smdr problem, what version is yours and is it a CE model. if you put a pc on terminal and look at raw data, if the number for incoming call is not there, then it is a smdr problem for ISDN

Well, we have different manuals, I will change that and hope it helps.

All are CE models buyed around year 1997-1998. Version is marked in my screenshot. Programming sw for this revision is dos blue screen utility Ver3.10B2 sample 23 and it shows P141F when is online connected. For kx-td816ce it shows P441F. KX-TD816 with P441F must be even older because it not support remote modem card.

SW for collecting smdr is "no name" application which grab rs-232 bytes and it writes all as is (raw data) to txt files named by date. As I noted before for incoming calls to isdn line in dial number column text <INCOMING> and no such info as clip/caller id or ddi. In feature guide manual for newer version is example of smdr output and smdr line is in slightly different format <I>12345678, so in my smdr line is long text incoming and no planned place for number. I think this is not possible in this version of pbx.

Thanks for helping.

upgrade your whole fleet to tde's or ncp's and have way more options....
