How did I got the Virus?

How do you get infected with the BAckdoor virus? We had not opened any crazy email or getting into any crazy web site. Also when I get into Macaffee Website and try to download from there Kaspersky anti-Virus gives me this error

"Attention! An infected object detected

Access to the object C:\...\UPGVZMOQ\EICAR[1].COM is blocked. Object is infected with a virus EICAR-TEST-File."


What is this virus about? Mcaffee site infected?

It's a standard AV test file, to show you that your AV software is actually scanning the disk looking for stuff.
