HI,

I have a 2 fold question:

1. How do I disable the keyboard and monitor so that the
system comes up even if neither is plugged in?
2. In trying to do above I changed me prom setting of
input-device to null. Now the system comes up but I cant do
anything at the prom level, only stop a ,after that cant type anything. Unless I cold boot the system and let it
come up all the way to dtlogin after which the keyboard works. How do i cahnge the setting back so that the keyboard
responds at the prom level

All suggestions appreciated.

TIA

There's a eeprom command that Sun can help you with. This will set prom settings from the kernel. Do a man on eeprom. GOOD LUCK!
