How create Telephone 3904 ACD Supervisor

Dear Sir:
How may I create a Telephone 3904 with ACD, I try to copy the programation of an excisting phone but, I get an error as follos: ERR SCH3306 "The Source TN cannot be an ACD Supervisor Severety: Info", and documentation confirm that it cannot be created. Then I try to create a new one, but it has parameters that the exist phone has that I really do no know to include in my new phone supervisor.

Please check the explanation belong in order to explain myselve better.

never copy a acd phone, build it from scratch, put spv in the cls and it will know it's a spv set

You cannot program this part as it occurs when the set is "acquired" by the Symposium.

To make an ACD set, put SPV in the CLS;

The KEY 0 ACD nnnn 0 pppp
where nnnn=ACD queue number
pppp=position number for ACD set
The 0 in between th ACD queue number and position number is the CLID table number.

You can copy, but it is not the preferred way of doing it. It is better to build it as a "new". Especially when there are agents being linked to a supervisor as that is where the corruption comes in.

one of the few things i disagree with perry on, according to nortel level four tech support, if you copy that set, and it corrupts your database, they will not help you retype the database. if someone in my switchroom did a copy on an acquired acd set, the 1st thing i would do "after" i got dialtone back would be to delete his password.. i can't hire or fire, but i do control access.. i do not allow changes or copy on acd phones.. you can save ten minutes, but you can look real foolish when the switch ini's 5 times before it does a cold restart, and then can't find an os

I would like to know how can I do to have two supervisors in a call center team with the telephone 3905 of an agent ( do I have to make a relation with SPID wich correspond ID supervisor, (can I add it to other supervisor, or I just have to indicae KEY 0 ACD nnnnn 0 SPV

These work to check agents calls?

That part is done by Symposium
After it is programmed go into Symposium Client, Switch Admin, phonesets and aqquire the phone. That is where it gets all that info.I agree never tried to change an aqquired phone and never copy a ACD phone.

The ACD Phone must be De-Aquired in the Server before you do anything.

You DO NOT Copy ACD Phones, if you do you my corrupt your Data Base, that is already a fact.

Even if you do a simple change, Print the Phone, Out the Phone and Rebuild the ACD Phone with the change after the ACD Phone is De-Acquired.

If you add a Supervisor to the Class of Service you wont see it unti you print the Phone.

After you rebuild the phone double check you programming and then Re-Aquire the ACD Phone.
