I have a Windows 2k3 Server running ArcServe 11.5 SP1. This is my primary backup server with 2 SAN units. I backup 24 Netware boxes through the WAN using the NWAgent. My problem is I have one server that is at a remote location connected through a 54MB Wireless connection. I would like to back it up locally some how. It is a Netware 6.5 Server. I would like to backup to a 400gib external hard drive I have attached to the server. I have a product license for the ArcServe 11.1 for Netware as well. I was sure I read you could backup to a Netware volume, but have been unable to find that information again. I have loaded the ArcServe 11.1 on that server, but it will not recognize the USB drive. I also have the NWAgent on that box and can't quite figure out how to get the USB as one of my backup medias. What would be the best way to back this guy up? Thanks!

Install 11.1 for NetWare and use ARCserve device configuration to create a filesystem device on the USB drive. The admin guide on the CD should guide you through this.

Do you want me to install 11.1 the Agent or the Full. When I load the full version it failes trying to initialize the adapter. I am guessing that is because it can not find the USB drive I have mounted.
