How control-M can be used as scheduler

plss explain how Control-M can be used as the scheduler for running shell scripts(which execute database stored procedures)at regular intervals of time
 
could you enlighten us all as to what exactly "Control-M" is?

Maybe a better explanation of the desired task is in order.

Yes, Control-M can be used for scheduling jobs (shell scripts). To have it execute a database stored procedure, you would need to write a script that triggers the procedure. You didn't say what DBMS you are using, so I can't give you much more than that. BMC or your DBMS vendor should be able to give you some examples on how to trigger a stored procedure.

For vgersh99 and others, Control-M is a multiplatform Job scheduler marketed by a company called BMC.
