Hi,
I have 2 tables one with a text field and one with a number field (heh its Vantage). Using Access I can run these queries via an ODBC link but cannot link the feilds in access "type miss match" they both contain the same information.
Is there a way to change the datatype of a query - run another one - to alter one of the feilds the text feild to a number field in access?
Thoughts please
Thanks in advance
Bill

You may use the Val or the Int functions in your query

Hope This Helps, PH.
