We have 2 WIN2K servers with SP3. One of these will not allow logging on, displaying a message along the lines of "MSGINA.DLL cannot be found or is corrupted please replace". The server can be accessed form the network.
I have restarted using a WIN2K CD and gone into recovery mode. Got to a command prompt and copied the file over. This has not worked.
I don't want to have replace the OS on a server which is part of the active directory. Is there any other way of doing this?
If we do have to put on a new OS does anyone have any helpful tips on potential problems of doing this.
