Hi All,
I have IP phone type 1150 in the call center(CS1000 E Rel 5 and CC6).does any one know how can i use the speaker of this type of the IP phone??

I attached USB keyboard to the USB interface in the left side of the IP phone and tried to use the USB keyboard function keys during the telephone calls as per DOCS.all function keys are working normally but when i use F1, it puts the caller in hold like F3.

Thanks In Advance,
Emam

Sure ... can you print the Agent TN?

If you want it enabled you should issue a HFA for CLS prompt in load 20. If you want it disabled you should issue a HFD for CLS. Those indicate HandsFree Allowed or HandsFree Denied respectively. I am not familiar with the 1150 as we have 1140's but I would imagine it does have speakerphone capability.

The speaker phone is not used on the 1150. It is only there to ease production.

Hi Dulfo666,
Thanks a lot for your prompt response.but did you try to use the USB keyboard?.in the user guide(entering test using the USB Keyboard)you will find the that the function key f1 go to speaker mode.is it applicable or not??
i tried all this function keys with many firmware realses some of this function keys are working normally and other aren't working and the f1 at all firmware realses used to activate the in call key in the phone set.

Thanks In Advace,

ACD sets do not have hands-free. 2216 does not. 3905 does not. IF the 1150 is an ACD set, it does not. After all, a speaker phone in an ACD enviornment does not make sense.

Any one has an official DOCS prove this issue.as the user guide of the phone set 1150 indicates that i can use the speaker by using the USB keyboard.

Thanks In Advance,

Hi All,
Any one has an official Nortel Docs prove that the speaker isn't supported in the phone type 1150.

Thanks,

Referring again to my original post ... perhaps you have speaker capability turned off ... hence it won't work when you press F1 ... print the agent TN please.

When I try pressing f1 on the keyboard it simulates pressing key 00 on my set(ACD KEY)

pressing f2 simulates pressing key 01 (an SCR KEY)

Im thinking the docs reference f1 as if it were default(Possibly a handsfree/speaker option programmed to a key itself)

Does anyone know about this?

Here's my TN prt:

Okay forget the USB keyboard for a minute - press your handsfree key on the lower left of your phone (green key) - if you don't have that on an 1150 then I am not sure how you translate it for your USB keyboard.

I would think that if you are using headsets, pressing the speaker key or the F1 key would not do anything.
