How can I use fonts I have downloaded in Quark?
I have downloaded some fonts to use for an upcoming project I am to be working on and have put them in the Windows font folder, but they do not appear in the Quark program when I look at the fonts menu. How can I use these fonts in Quark?

I would be very grateful for some help on this matter! Thanks!

Are they postscript fonts or truetype? If they're postscript, you may need to use Adobe Type Manager to add them correctly. Although it may store a shortcut to the font in the Windows font folder, the actual font is usually stored somewhere else.

Thanks for the help. I have downloaded Adobe Type Manager and it seems to all be ok now!

There is no need for ATM on windows 2000/XP for postscript fonts.Simply copy/install the fonts into the fonts directory (c:\windows\fonts) and QuarkXPress will pick those fonts.
