how can i transfer whole database(all the values in the table) ?

Hi all,

I am kind of having trouble creating DTS for transfering all the table values or i would say all the data from database one to database two. it does transfer data but for only one so how would i creating dts to select all the tables values from database one and overwrite the data values in database two?

Have you tried using the export wizard? It will give you options to select all the tables if that is what you want to do.

You may want to use the wizard to create the DTS and then tweak it as needed.

yes i have tried import and export wizard already but i wanted to overwrite the data that already exist at that name in databaes two so what could if be done..

In the wizard you should see a choice to overwrite or append the data.
