How can i set PRI Trunk between AVAYA to Nortel (without QSIG)

Hi experts,

Need your help again,we are planning to set a ISDN PRI trunk between Nortel to AVAYA PBX without QSIG feature.

Need your inputs, what things should we keep in mind so that it can be done sucessfully .

I think below should be the ideal configuration for the DS1 …any ideas/suggestions are highly appreciated.

Location: 02A19 Name: avaya-nortel

Bit Rate: 1.544 Line Coding: b8zs
Line Compensation: 1
Framing Mode: esf
Signaling Mode: isdn-pri
Connect: pbx Interface: network

TN-C7 Long Timers? n Country Protocol: 1

Interworking Message: PROGress Protocol Version: a

Interface Companding: mulaw CRC? N

IdleCode:11111111

Did this DS1 ever work out for you?

If so, what protocol version did you use? I noticed you have it set to "a", but I thought Nortel uses protocol "b".

Just curious since, I'm also trying to connect my Avaya Definity to a Nortel MSL-100.
