How can I retrofit CSS?

I'm going back to an old site I built pre-dw.
It's uniform in text, size, colour, etc.
What I want to do is import it into dw-mx and then mod it, but I want to use CSS to control the look, as I'm thinking of revamping it quite a bit.
Now of course I can create a CSS based on the original and then amend it, but is ther any way to remove all the relevant 'font' commands and so on once the CSS is in place without trawling laboriously through all the html?

I bet this is possible - I just don't know how.

Help?

Find and replace is a good option. Open your file that contains the most formatting and copy/paste what has to come out into the find/replace window and search entire local site. I'm not sure of a "quicker" way - had to do the same thing for an old site we had that was overwhelmingly wrapped in font tags.

You can also open the HTML Styles panel window and use that to strip or remove all formatting. I've done it that way on sites I want to refit as CSS ones.
