Can anybody tell me, how can i measure which protocolls or services are the reason for the traffic on the external card???I would be no help to get the total packets, i need more detailed infos.
Thanks for help!!!

So when you setup a monitoring box, I assume you would use two interfaces. One for remote monitor access and one that is actually monitoring the data? Does the monitoring interface need to have an IP address?

Hi joeka77,

What kind of connection you have to your WAN link? Is is just a RJ45 that goes from your switch or something else?
