Hello,

I need recover a part from a save set, for example, F:\FOLDER\EXAMPLE. The save set is F:\FOLDER whose size is 16 GB.

The size of save set is accessible from Indexes tab from Networker Administrator or via line-command:

# mminfo -v -c ClientName |grep SaveSet

Can I previously know the size of F:\FOLDER\EXAMPLE?

Many thanks in advance,

Unfortunately mminfo is the wrong command as it just has info about the whole size of the save set.

However there is a possibility:
run "recover -n -a F:\FOLDER\EXAMPLE"
When the program executes, the amount will be displayed in the first line. You can then abort the command
using ^C.

Be aware that the media to recover from will be loaded.

nsrinfo -v -N "F:\FOLDER\EXAMPLE" client name should do it for you. The old man pages I have say that it won't give you file size for windows files, but it seemed to for me.

also, you should be able to see the size in winworkr.
