How can I have multiline text auto-scroll to the bottom?

Hi there,

I have a multiline text field which contains status messages. Everytime a new status comes up, it's appended to the text field.

Unfortunately, the scrollbars always seem to reset to the top.

How can I set it up and/or program the text field so that when a new status is appended, the scrollbar will stay scrolled to the bottom?

PS -- Yes, I could just append all new messages at the top of the text field, but the customer doesn't want that.

try using

text1.selstart = len(text1.text)

I haven't tried this so i'm not sure if it will work.

It should work, but have you considered using a list box instead?
