How can I get a report to pull information on a currentdate.. For example if I run a report (today) it would give me stats from today's date and today only. I have tried
(date.field) = currentdate, I also tried (date.field) = today...none worked. I know it is something simple..i just can't put my finger on it though. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am using crystal 7.01.
Thanks

Either of the above should work with the select expert unless your {date.field} isn't a true date field. If it's a DateTime use date({date.field})=currentdate Mike

as MBarron said...often what appear to be dates in a database are often numbers or strings. You can check this out by right-clicking on a datafield and browsing the database...the field format will be shown.

Thanks guys that information helped alot and the report is working. Instead of calling it date() I called it datetime()= currentdate. Thanks again for your help. I knew it was something small.
