I have a scenario where a client has a screwed up AD config, the Topology is a mess, and across a 60 site network you take pot luck which server authenticates you when you logon, this is causing a problem with their Terminal Servers, a clean build of which I have just done for them, I have of course advised them that they need to sort out their AD, but in the meantime, how can I force a Terminal Server which is a member of an AD to use a specific (Physically Local) Domain Controller when authenticating to the AD?

In NT there was a command called setprfdc. Where you could set the prefered DC. It is supposed to also work in 2000, but I have never tried it.
