Into the Tools/Preferences/Performance menu, I change the default value for the circle smoothness from 100 to 20000, then I click the "Apply" button and "OK".
After that, I just close the Autocad and, when I open it again and go to that menu, the value has come back to 100.
Is there any way to really "apply" my preferences?

Thanks

Paulo

Viewres is the command that controls that. You may try that from the command line and see if the value holds.

I`ve tried that, but it didn`t work... Do you know any other way?

Thank you

Paulo

Are you possibly running custom menu's or lisp? The only thing I can think of is if a lisp is resetting the value upon loading the drawing.

I'm not using a custom menu... Is there a specific lisp file to search for? I'm still a beginner in lisp...

Paulo

I would look in the acad.lsp or you could add it to the bottom of that file.

(command "viewres" "y" "the number you want it to be")

Can you look in my acad.lsp? I've tried the command, but it didn't work...

I may have made it more confusing than it should have been.

(command "viewres" "y" 103)

that is how it should look in the lsp file
