I'm using Windows ME with a Broadband connection. How can I find my own IP address?

That is unless you're using Win XP, in which case winipcfg will not be found.

In case of winxp, open Network Connections, right click on the broadband connection (may be LAN or classed as dial-up), click on Status, then the Support tab (or Details in case of dialup).

Thanks for the help... problem solved using winipcfg...thanks

This presumes that you are not behind any kind of router on an internal LAN. In that case your IP would probably be 192.168.1.** - which is NOT your WAN IP. If you ARE on an internal LAN then you need an external service to trace your real IP.
Try this page to check - and get further explanation!
