i want to export my access database to a txt file. i tryed to use transfertext method but coulnd't find how can i use export fixed .. ?

Docmd.transfertext.acExportFixed.?. like this..

You can do it in a macro using the action TransferText but will have to do it table by table I think. You can enter Specification name if you saved one, the table you want to export, the output file name, etc...

If you create export specification (you have to do this while manually exporting the tables), then you can save this specification and pass it as part of your TransferText function call. "Alcohol is our friend, and it's about time we had more friends over."
