Running Exchange 2000 and using Outlook XP on a Windows XP client. I have a distribution list of approximately 150 people but when I try to add more to it, it says my distribution list is too big. Any way I can increase the size of it? I think it may be based solely in Outlook but not sure. I do run Exchange through it so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Don't quote me on it, but I believe the limit is 5000 users per DL?

Where is the DL, on Exchange, or in Outlook?

If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, expect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.

Actually now that I look at it, the distribution list is in Outlook. Will that be a problem?

No, but the post in in the Exchange Forum, so we were looking at the wrong thing to blame ;-)

As a quick workaround, what you can do as a test: create 4 DL's of 50, then 1 DL where you make those 4 DL's member of.

Isn't your SMTP service limited to 150 concurrent connections?
